Dr. Parm Sandhu, optometrist

Dr. Sandhu was raised in Williams Lake, BC. He later moved to Vancouver to attend UBC where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry in 1989. He received his Doctor of Optometry in 1994, from New England College of Optometry in Boston where he was also a member of the school’s honour society Beta Sigma Kappa. Dr. Sandhu has practiced optometry in BC for 13 years, and in 2001 opened up his first EyeMax EyeCare clinic in Vancouver’s downtown core.
Over the last six years he has expanded his practice to include a second location in Abbotsford.

 

 

Dr. Meghan Bantle, optometrist

Dr. Bantle grew up in Saskatoon, SK. She attended the University of Saskatchewan for two years before being accepted into the University of Waterloo, where she graduated on the Dean's Honours List with her Doctor of Optometry degree. During her studies, Dr. Bantle received the Alcon CPE Award based on superior performance within the Contact Lens portion of the curriculum. Dr. Bantle has gained clinical experience in various settings, including an ophthalmic disease internship at the John Kenyon American Eye Institute in Louisville, KY, and primary care internships in North Vancouver and Brisbane, Australia. In 2009 she also volunteered with VOSH (Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity), where she went on an eye care mission to Romania and provided the public with comprehensive eye exams, glasses, and referrals to ophthalmologists when needed. In her spare time, Dr. Bantle has a passion for travelling and has been able to explore various countries and cultures through her occupation. She also enjoys playing volleyball, and watching hockey and football.

Dr. Bantle is accepting new patients of all ages and is excited to join the EyeMax EyeCare team.
